Jade Ariah is a multi-disciplinary artist, educator and third-generation Alaskan, currently based in Seattle, Washington. She earned her BFA in Ceramics from the University of Alaska Anchorage in 2018, graduating cum laude with a minor in Sociology. She has exhibited her work across Alaska in both statewide and nationally curated exhibitions.

Following her studies, Jade built a diverse career within the arts sector, spanning graphic design, curatorial work, conservation, collection management, and public art. She currently manages The Clay Corner, a community ceramics studio in Ballard.

In addition to her professional work, Jade maintains a practice inspired by memories associated with celebrating, cooking and eating. Through illustration, quiltmaking and ceramic sculpture, she investigates the culture and storytelling of family through food and everyday objects.
